SHOW YOUR LOVE

I think today can be a good day to address this subject succinctly. It is a great virtue, it is what everyone is saying now...What am I referring to? The common word "Love". I discover some people don't really know the meaning of the word. I am not an authority, so let us consult the dictionary. What is the lexicon definition for the word 'LOVE"? For the sake of education, read below seven scholarly written definitions of love, as culled from Wikipedia.

Love is an emotion of a strong affection and personal attachment. [1] Love is also said to be a virtue representing all of human kindness, compassion, and affection —"the unselfish loyal and benevolent concern for the good of another".[2] Love may describe compassionate and affectionate actions towards other humans, one's self or animals.[3]
In English, love refers to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from pleasure ("I loved that meal") to interpersonal attraction ("I love my partner"). "Love" may refer specifically to the passionate desire and intimacy of romantic love, to the sexual love of Eros, to the emotional closeness of familial love, to the platonic love that defines friendship,[4] or to the profound oneness or devotion of religious love,[5] or to a concept of love that encompasses all of those feelings. This diversity of uses and meanings, combined with the complexity of the feelings involved, makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, compared to other emotional states.
Love in its various forms acts as a major facilitator of interpersonal relationships and, owing to its central psychological importance, is one of the most common themes in the creative arts.[6]
Love may be understood as part of the survival instinct, a function to keep human beings together against menaces and to facilitate the continuation of the species.[7]

Love does not come in isolation. it start by your trusting. The genesis of loving a person is to first of all trust the person and this by default degenerate into love for the person. Apart from what I am hearing, How do I know if He or she truly loves me? Looking at the subject of love, I know truly well that it is a practical virtue. You cannot theorize it and now tell me you love him/her. You must show the love. In a sermon an Islamic scholar was delivering sometimes ago here in Ibadan, Master R.T.B. Akingbile said and I quote, "Don't ever believe people who use mouth to toast you. Real love does something. If you love her do something and show it. It is not by word. It is by you trying to demonstrate it. You show your love by caring and sharing with that person". This Uhrstars was talking about ACTION, which we all believe speaks louder than voice. This is an action devoid of eye-service, gossiping, and hypocrisy.
This was exactly what GOD Did for the whole human race. According to John 3 : 16, GOD Showed this Sinful world the Practically of HIS Love for humanity By SendinG HIS oNly Begotten Son To Die for US ALL. He Gave Us SomethinG To Show HIS LOVE, That is why 1st John Chapter 4, Opined that "GOD IS LOVE". InvariabLy, If you are a child of GOD, then You Must Be LovinG And SubsequentLy Show The LOVE ThrougH Your AcTion. In my Book, "DARE TO PONDER" I Said, "Your Action Makes The Difference, Because It IS This Your ActioN That Is The Best Interpreter Of Your Thoughts. And your ThoughTs LiterallY Describes You".

Here are the features of LOVE as Depicted in 1 Corinthians 13 : 4, 5.
"Love is Patient, Love is Kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not Proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered (or provoked) and Love Does not Keep Records of Wrongs done to HIM/HER".
