| AN INCAPABLE MIND |

| AN INCAPABLE MIND |

I pity the man whose mind is incapable of creative thinking
Because when his likes take to the mountain heights
He stays aground like an eagle that can't fly,
Robbed off of the thrills and feels of conquering the skies
His natural eye may seem perfectly intact
But the ignorant man's mind is completely dark.
Foolishness makes him shrink into obscurity
And become slave to men of rare ingenuity.
The creative man is one who simplifies complexities,
Turn challenges to perfect opportunities,
Makes profit in places where others have toiled in futility.
His mind, like is countenance, is wired with positivity.
But the fool instead with frail wishes and empty dreams,
Goes all about and make boast in the street
Plowing and planting his seeds in the wind
And yet hoping for a bountiful harvest in due season.
All the toils of the thoughtless man will go unnoticed
For his life is worth nothing to his own household
His days, like his wishful dreams, go with the wind;
He soon dies unremembered and becomes a forgotten history.
Consider deeply the ways of the wise man for a while
Putting it side by side with that of the ignorant man,
And next to it, place your very own life
Then choose for yourself with whom your path is aligned?
I have found a secret worth holding on to;
The strength of the wise is in the place of solitude
There in their place of meditation, ideas abound in excess
But the ignorant enjoys the place of cacophony, not quietness.

MAXIMIZE THE ADVANTAGE OF DIGITAL AGE

MAXIMIZE THE ADVANTAGE OF DIGITAL AGE
 The Digital Age (also known as the Information Age, Computer Age or New Media Age) is a period in human history characterized by the shift from traditional industry that the industrial revolution brought through industrialization, to an economy based on information computerization. The onset of the Information Age is associated with the Digital Revolution, just as the Industrial Revolution marked the onset of the Industrial Age. Digital age refers to the present time use of machines and computers to present information in digital format. Some of the commonly used digital forms are the use of Information technology and the Internet. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is already a part of our everyday lives. The Internet, a major part of the Modern Media Technology Revolution is becoming increasingly popular and widespread. It has achieved penetration of massive population worldwide than any other technology before it. As we watched the trend goes, all forms of communication and information management tools are becoming digital, with the potential for merging and are having massive influence on our lives now and in the future. We now have smaller and cheaper computers, digital equipment (digital camera, digital video recorder e.t.c) also becoming the other of the day because they offer faster and more quality alternatives than their analog counterpart.

´ The Digital Era is the 21st century that we live, wherein almost everything is executed with the aid of computers cum ICT gadgets. For example, in 2015, Nigeria initiated the Computer Based Test for conducting Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). With this system of Examination conducts, candidates’ access results after six hours of submission. To use ICT is very simple if you are well proficient with the use of these technologies/gadgets. The beauty of these technologies is the ability of these innovations to navigate boundaries and to proffer solutions real time to (our need or) myriad of tasks.
 It is expedient that the Youth be up and doing to undertake trainings, retrain and untrain themselves in the evolving fields of ICT/computing. The reason is simply because; a man is as good as what you know. The inspiration I wrote in the book entitled DARE TO PONDER is your learning power today will determine your earning power tomorrow. It is how well you are proficient in your chosen career today that will dictate your value in the labour market tomorrow. It is simple, learn Today so as to lead Tomorrow. That is why it is believed that knowledge is power. You become empowered to excel in life when you have cognitive knowledge about a relevant field of human endeavour. The 2016 Summer school, as organized by RAREGEM I.T. CONSULTS INTERNATIONAL is a viable option for you to avail yourself the opportunities therein. The 2015 maiden edition was very successful, hence the motivation to give the 2016 edition a shot with optimism of a successful Computer Training Initiative. Even Olayinka Samuel and Ibukun Olaoluwa have signified their intentions to be at the upcoming 2016 edition to share their own testimonies to the credence of RAREGEM’s abilities to deliver all their promises to the students.
´ The Organisation is trying to promote Computing knowledge among Youths in Oyo state through organising training centres across three Batch training. For a period of three hours for one day’s Lecture, The 9am Batch holds at Monatan, While The 12pm Batch holds at Tender College, Babanla and Th 4pm Batch holds at our Iwo Road Office from AUGUST 1 – 29 2016; Mondays to Saturdays. REPORT OF CREATE, IBADAN CITY FIRST ENTRELEADERSHIP SUMMIT

REPORT OF CREATE, IBADAN CITY FIRST ENTRELEADERSHIP SUMMIT
The Youth Empowerment Summit started at around 09:25am with opening prayer by Revd Excellence and was followed by The Second Stanza of the National Anthem and The National Pledge.  The Convener, Mr. Olurotimi Odejayi demystified to the audience the objective of the Summit as well as the aims of the CREATE. These are to help: provide a forum to engage the Nigerian youths, educate them using the arts and strategy of creativity, and also to sensitize them, with a view to empowering them with useful requisite knowledge from seasoned resource speakers invited to the Summit. He further explained that it is very imperative for youths to gather as was done on the 2nd MAY, 2016 for them to learn cum get exposed to some important trainings which have been elusive to them in the formal educational setting. The trainings along the lines of entrepreneurship and leadership teachings were promised to be given to the youths in attendance. He further read to the participants on THE CHOICE TO BE CREATIVE, a down to heart article written to still buttress the facts that we are free moral agents who are at liberty to choose either to be creative or not. The next important segment observed was a practical hands-on session anchored by Mr. Mayowa Balogun to empower the participants with how to make liquid soap. He came in with already prepared tutorials which he circulated among the participants. He there after answered the questions of his audience. The teaching lasted for one hour and he answered the four questions directed to him by the Participants. This down to earth teaching seeks to demystify to everyone who an entrepreneur is and what, what and what are the qualities of buddy business owner, who is at the heart of any successful enterprise. RECOMMENDATION
MR. ODEJAYI will like to humbly solicit for More Involvement of the American Corner, Ibadan Leadership in the 30th May, 2016 phase of CREATE, which will be the grand finale of the Summit. The obvious example was the absence of the Director from our Programme. Ma, Please we will be very grateful if you can be around to help give us the moral supports we needed. We still have two main practical empowerments to educate the participants with and these are: Leather Works/ Shoe Making and Digital Marketing session. For the later, we will need to use the Internet for 30 Minutes. Kindly oblige us with this assistance. The 30th of May Summit will commence by exactly 09am prompt and will end by 04pm God willing.
